Michael Jackson was not only a great pop singer and dance artist. There were patented technologies behind his performing arts.
One trick that Michael Jackson liked to carry out during his concerts was to defy gravity. Amid a number, he leaned so far forward that the audience was amazed at how he did not fall over. The idea behind the trick ,he had invented himself, and patented.
By attaching the shoe to the floor, he could be sure to remain standing even when he leaned forward full length.
On Google Patents, it is possible to see Michael Jackson's brilliant
patent in its entirety with sketches of how the invention works.

How the trick was done
• Jacksons specially designed shoe went up over the wrist.
• The heel of the shoe is a V-shaped notch.
• From the stage floor screws attach the holes scored in the heels of the shoes. The screws can be lower down in the stage floor automatically.
• The artist can now lean forward and be sure not to fall over.
