TECH NEWS. Skype founders Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, along with venture capital firm Khosla Ventures, have invested a million dollars in the Swedish-American mobile-chat company Heysan.

Heysan allows users to receive MSN and ICQ-messages in their mobile phones. The investment will allow the company to launch a new internet telephone service.

In a year, Heysan has added 200 000 users, with 2 000 more joining every day.
”The most important feedback from Niklas was not to be tempted to enter new areas before the core product is good enough," said Gustaf Alströmer of Heysan.

Heysan has high hopes for its new service, which will allow users to make international mobile calls for the price of a local call by using local access points and sending the international parts of the call over the internet.
