Michael Jackson was not only an artist and songwriter. He was also an immortal part of computer games history. In 1990 Sega released the game Moonwalker, based on the movie of the same name. The game was first premiered in arcades and then released for Sega's game consoles. Players had to dance and shoot their way through five levels, all supported by digitized versions of Michael's songs. The songs Bad, Smooth Criminal, Beat it, Another part of me and Thriller were all part of the game. The plot of the game was to find missing children, based on the character Katie from the movie. The dance Step Moonwalk was of course possible to perform in the game. Michael Jackson has also done roles in the game Space Channel 5 for Sega Dreamcast and Playstation 2 and the game Ready to rumble boxing, released a series of games.
