FACEBOOK. His name might be little known in his native Sweden, but Net  Jacobsson is a major mover in one of the world's hottest internet companies: Facebook. As Director of International Business Development, Jacobsson is playing a pivotal role in the international launch of the social networking giant. "We're going to translate Facebook to a number of languages, starting with European languages," he says. Jacobsson, from Malmö, started his career at Ericsson and has since worked for companies including AOL and most recently for Chinese web-browser company Maxthon. There he saw Maxathon become China’s second biggest browser. Now based in Silicon Valley, he says he finds the American culture of entrepreneurship “inspiring.”“Failure is seen as OK, as people view it just as good experience for the next challenge,” he says.
